Features and Applications

9840T

Cr-Ni-Mo steel, easy to temper for manufacturing for mechanical applications (arrows, gears, crowns, etc.); its hardenability is superior to 4140 steel and with better resistance to mechanical fatigue.

​

Like  medium carbon steels, precautions must be taken if it will be subjected to a welding process.
